How to find us

What is SGPT?

Small group personal training or SGPT is a group fitness session delivered by one of our expert personal trainers. We limit the number of people to 8 people in a session at a time; this ensures we can spend time with each person in the session to provide guidance, adaptation and personalisation.

Are the sessions suitable if I have an injury or haven't exercised for a while?

Yes. Please inform us about any injuries before you begin so we can tailor the movements to suit your needs. Many clients continue to thrive in our sessions and can readily work around their limitations.

We have a team of skilled Personal trainers and corrective exercise specialists who can work with clients with any need, and are used to working with injuries and supporting clients through their recovery. 

I am a beginner, will be able to keep up?

Absolutely. Our SGPT sessions are designed with beginners in mind, so you can gradually build the foundation movements and become familiar with the key principles and the equipment.

You will find us by your side during session, making sure you feel safe every step of the way.

What days and times are the SGPT sessions on?

We have more than 25 sessions per week to choose from. These are on at the following times:

Mon, Wed and fri at 6.45am

Mon - fri 9.30/10am

Mon and Wed 6 and 7pm

Tues and Thu at 12.10pm, 6.15pm and 7.15pm

Saturday at 9.30am and 10.30am

Sunday at 10.30am and 11.30am

How often am I expected to come and train?

The science shows that to develop your strength in a progressive way you need to be training with weights at least twice per week. For cardiovascular benefits we should be training at least three times per week. With this in mind, our 6-week initial programme requires you to train 3 x per week for best results.

What are the typical costs?

All of our programmes are personal training programmes. So by nature spending time with a trainers expertise within your SGPT sessions or in your 1-2-1 sessions means this is on a completely different level to a gym membership.

We pride ourselves on providing high levels of service, support and personalisation to all of our programmes.

The important thing to remember is all a gym membership provides you with is access, that's it. This is a personalised programme of training, exercise and lifestyle behaviour change.

Programmes range from £297-£717 depending on the amount of personal training that is involved.
